David Freedman is the Co-Founder of Freestar, a managed service that simplifies the challenges of website monetization to help publishers and e-commerce sites reach their true revenue potential. Started in 2015, Freestar has amassed a client list of some of the most well-known publishers in the world, including Fortune, Barstool, and Coindesk among others. 

A 15-year veteran in the digital advertising and publishing space, Freedman’s entrepreneurial career began when he founded college calendar company, Tempe12 while at Arizona State University in 2004. He scaled the business to reach 21 other universities, giving away 500,000 copies a year and attracting millions of online viewers. It was from Freedman’s experience scaling and growing Tempe12 that he learned firsthand the pain points of publishers and how to overcome them, leading to his focus on digital advertising and later, to Freestar.

Since Freestar’s inception in 2015, the company has seen an explosive 3-year growth rate of 36,680%, earning the number one position on Inc.’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2019.
