Disillusioned with the grind of daily commutes and mindless work, Dave Nevogt started his own business with a remote team. Yet managing this global team became a challenge. He knew there had to be a better way to track hours, pay contractors, send invoices, and manage projects — and that’s how Hubstaff was born. The Hubstaff team operates on the platform they built,  so they know what it takes to collaborate effectively with colleagues on the other side of the globe. It’s how Hubstaff has continued to grow since 2012, and how they’ve helped customers do the same.

2019 was a year of awards and momentum building for the Hubstaff family. The company made the Inc. 5000 list of the most successful companies in America for the second year in a row and passed $6 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) while supporting 10,000 active paid subscribers. Additionally, the company publicly launched Hubstaff Tasks, an agile project management tool the company has been using internally. Hubstaff also launched geofenced job sites, a feature that allows location-based time tracking for teams in the field.
